Join us in downtown Iowa City for two days exploding with color, music, and thousands of customers.

The Iowa Arts Festival is designed as an interactive adventure of the highest quality, showcasing over 100 of the highest caliber artists from Iowa and throughout the country. Iowa City sizzles with a diversity of quality performers, visual arts, ethnic foods and fun, as thousands enjoy a rich cultural collage.

We invite you to join Iowa's most exiting arts event—Artfair 2009! Applications are posted online in mid-January.

Important Dates

March 1, 2009: Entry deadline—last postmark date
March 31, 2009: Jury decisions mailed
June 6–7, 2009: Artfair 2009

Awards

Artfair will award cash prizes of $1,000 on Saturday afternoon. Anonymous judges will be visiting all vendors and making their recommendations for award winners based on the quality of the artwork, the booth itself and the salesmanship of the person staffing the booth.
